System Design

A system design process that fully considers test and integration early on will lead to a more cost-effective life-cycle development. HRP Systems believes this approach should be applied to all development activities. We can help you achieve cost goals and delivery schedules while reducing the integration risks.

Application Software

The use of structured development methodologies is key to the reduction of software life-cycle costs and facilitates the creation of software reuse libraries. HRP Systems is well versed in structured methods: a tailored use of 2167A, the IEEE standards with a broad experience in the use of Ada as a primary development language and PDL. In developing over one million lines of codes, HRP Systems personnel have effectively used these methodologies.

Data Reduction Tools

An integrated toolset consisting of Data Collection, Reduction and Analysis Software (DCRAS) provides essential capabilities to support all performance verification activities. HRP Systems has developed DCRAS tools for processor sizing and timing analysis, software integration and test, subsystem integration, and system performance evaluation.

Simulation

The use of simulation throughout the development process, from concept definition and verification, through final test and integration, assures achievement of all technical goals and substantially reduces development risk. HRP Systems has developed simulation tools which allow for rapid prototyping during system definition, software module build-up, and Incremental Subsystem Integration (ISI). These tools are available and can be customized for your application.

Test and Integration

Efficient and effective testing relies on an incremental building block approach and the extensive use of simulation for subsystems which are not available when testing begins. HRP Systems has developed test plans, procedures, and results documentation for all levels of testing, from software integration to software IV & V, for subsystem acceptance testing through subsystem integration and testing through system performance analysis.
